The 20 year old goal-keeper of Nuneaton Town, Reice Charles-Cook is currently performing with the Conference Premier League club on a loan deal from Coventry City and so far things has been going superb for the young English shot-stopper with consistently impressive performances.
Coventry City originally signed Reice Charles-Cook on a one year long loan deal but following his string of standout matches, Coventry has decided to extend his contract until June of 2016. 2 clean sheets have been secured along the way and the coach of Coventry City, Steven Pressley has voiced his opinion concerning this recent contract extension.
Pressley said: “Since joining the club in the summer, we’ve been really impressed by his progression, not only on the training field but in his performances for Nuneaton Town as well’’
“I also believe that working with Steve Ogrizovic on a daily basis has and will continue to aid his development. We have now secured the services of two very promising young goalkeepers, Lee Burge and Reice Charles-Cook, which bodes well for the future of this football club.”
Steve Ogrizovic is the goalkeeping coach of Coventry City and has aided in the development of Reice Charles-Cook but with this contract extension of the English player, Ogrizovic will now have more time for him to continue helping in his evolution.
Charles-Cook is the undisputed goal-keeper of Nuneaton Town and the English player began his career with Arsenal in the youth academy before being released to Bury FC but only managed to make 2 appearances and it wasn’t until he made his way to Nuneaton Town on a loan deal where the Englishman managed to become an important figure as he makes consistent performances.
